KCR to go to Andhra, Seema

By J.R. PRASAD

Hyderabad, Feb. 22: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti chief, Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao, will go on a whirlwind tour of Andhra and Rayalaseema regions to seek the support of locals for the victory of the Telugu Desam-led Grand Alliance in the general elections.
This was disclosed by the senior TRS leader, Mr N. Narasimha Reddy, on Sunday at the NTR Bhavan, the headquarters of the Telugu Desam.
“Mr Rao will soon tour Andhra and Rayalaseema to garner the support of people of those regions. He took the decision as there are several requests from the people in Andhra,” Mr Reddy
said.
However, analysts feel that Mr Rao’s campaign in non-Telangana areas may draw the wrath of Telangana intellectuals who are not in favour of the pink party’s alliance with the TD.
The co-ordination committee of the Grand Alliance comprising Mr Reddy, Mr K. Ramamohana Rao of the Telugu Desam, Mr Y.V. Rao of the CPI(M) and the CPI leader, Mr Ramakrishna, met at the NTR Bhavan on Sunday to chalk out an action plan.
