Jayasudha strives to find Secunderabad residence

Hyderabad

March 25: Actor-turned-politician Jayasudha is struggling to find a house for herself in Secunderabad.
Currently, she faces the tag of being an “outsider,” as her residence is in Gachibowli.
Jayasudha now wants to set up a home in Secunderabad Assembly
constituency from where she is contesting.
The move is aimed at erasing the outsider tag and be one among the voters here so that she can take on Mr Talasani Srinivas Yadav of the Telugu Desam.
Mr Yadav, the sitting MLA from Secunderabad Assembly segment, has been stating that Jayasudha is an outsider and is not familiar with the local problems.
However, efforts by Jayasudha to get an accommodation has not materialised. Several house owners have sent back her aides stating that they do not want to give the house to a politician as political activity will disturb the residential atmosphere.
When contacted, Jayasudha said no one is willing to give house to a politician. “I started searching for a house only after the Congress released the names of candidates. I may have got a house had I started searching before the list was announced,” she said.
Jayasudha wants to stay with the electorate. Though her daily campaign schedule along with the problems of each area is being sent to her directly from the Chief Minister’s Camp Office, Jayasudha said she prefers to talk with slum dwellers to understand their living conditions and demands.
