March 6: With the poll schedule announced, it is “business time” again for the political opportunists in each party.
Over a hundred political functionaries of various hues and colours have already switched parties in the state in the last two months. Discarded and defunct leaders, scamsters and politicians who are not sure of getting party tickets in their current party are eyeing possible slots in other parties.
Leaders who appeared in lily-white Congress attire till the other day are seen in yellows and vice-versa. The green-coloured Praja Rajyam too is getting its quota of leaders from Congress and TD ranks. The influx has just started and it is bound to increase after the announcement of tickets.
