PR chief, wife are worth Rs 88 cr

Tirupati, April 4: The Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi and his wife, Mrs Surekha, have assets worth Rs 88 crore. This was revealed by the megastar-turned-politician in an affidavit he filed along with his nomination papers in the Tirupati assembly constituency.

The total value of Mr. Chiranjeevi’s fixed assets stood at Rs. 30,32,74,250 and that of his movable assets is Rs. 3,50,05,579.
Mrs Surekha’s fixed assets are worth Rs. 48,05,25,600 and her movable assets come to Rs.6,16,83,210. According to the affidavit, Chiranjeevi has cash worth Rs. 6,24,521, deposits amounting to Rs. 21,20,979, and bonds and shares valued at Rs. 1,12,95,000.
He also has a Honda CRV Car priced at Rs. 8,27,150, gold ornaments valued at Rs 1,95,73,561 and other assets amounting to Rs 5,64,368.
His fixed assets comprise agricultural lands in Ranga Reddy district, 29 kuntas at Kokapet worth Rs. 1,35,00,000 and several plots in Chennai.
Chiranjeevi’s 3,333 sq. ft house in Hyderabad is worth Rs 14,36,00,000 and he has debts amounting to Rs 59,30,087.
His wife, Mrs Surekha, has cash of Rs. 1,08,257, deposits worth Rs 2,60,29,785, bonds and shares amounting Rs 2,76,45,650, and saving schemes amounting to Rs 2,00,000. She also has a Honda Accord car priced at Rs 9 lakh, gold worth Rs 62,99,518 and other assets amounting to Rs. 5,00,000.
Mrs Surekha also has 4.10 acres land at Kokapet in Ranga Reddy worth Rs 8,50,00,000, 9.28 acres of land at Mumbapur in Medak district worth Rs 4,64,00,000, 4.19 acres at Yalahanka Hubli in Karnataka priced at Rs 4,19,00,000, 50 cents at Shalinganallur in Chennai worth Rs 4,35,36,000 and plots in Hyderabad and Chennai.
She also owns several buildings including the Century plaza complex (1,910 sq. ft) in Chennai worth Rs 2,37,80,000, IIPM Towers (2,498 sq. ft) at Erramanzil Colony in Hyderabad worth Rs 1,24,95,000, and the party office at Jubilee Hills (1,148 sq. ft) priced at Rs 4,01,80,000.
