‘Naidu, Chiru are backstabbers’

Writing in his wife’s blog “Rajasekharam”, the actor, who is now campaigning for the Congress, termed Chiranjeevi a “wolf in sheep’s clothing”.
“My blood boils when I see through his two faces,” he wrote. “His inside and outside are deceptive.”
According to Dr Rajasekhar, Chiranjeevi follows the Robert Greene book like a Bible. “The book is full of vennu potu ideas,” he said. “I saw the same book in Chandrababu Naidu’s house.”
Dr Rajasekhar quoted from the book to buttress his comments against Chiranjeevi and Mr Naidu.
“Everything is judged by its appearance…Make yourself a magnet of attention by appearing larger, more colourful, more mysterious, than the bland and timid masses...,” wrote the actor.
Political analysts, however, said that Dr Rajasekhar was not immune from applying the laws of power either. He sided with NTR’s wife, Mrs Lakshmi Paravati, after Mr Naidu’s coup in 1995. Later, he and his wife Jeevita extended support to Mr Naidu and campaigned for him in the 2004 polls.
After the Congress gained power they slowly got closer to the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, and have now turned star campaigners for the ruling party. Like Chiranjeevi, who spoke of rising from Ganji to Benz (from eating rice gruel to driving in Mercedes Benz) Dr Rajasekhar has said that he had “milked animals, and made pidakalu (dung cake)” as a child to help his mother.
He alleged that Chiranjeevi’s cry for social justice was a sham since he used to treat his servants cruelly and had once beaten up a car driver for eating his leftovers.
