NTR sons warned of Naidu’s poll tactics

Hyderabad, Nov. 5: Ms Daggubati Purandareswari, Union minister of state and daughter of N.T. Rama Rao, on Wednesday released an emotional letter that she had written her actor-brothers Harikrishna and Balakris-hna cautioning them against the “tricks” employed by the Telugu Desam chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu. In the letter, timed with the party’s Yuva Garjana in Guntur during the day, Ms Purandareswari asked her brothers to remember NTR’s agony after the 1995 revolt. She also circulated a compact disc, NTR’s Atma Garjana, to the media. It including clips of NTR speaking of Mr Naidu’s treachery. She started the letter with a dialogue from the blockbuster film Srikrishna Pandaveeyam, where Lord Krishna (enacted by NTR) in disguise teases Bhima about Krishna’s pre-dominance among the Pandavas. “Your brother-in-law (Krishna) is calling the shots in your house by making all of you insignificant,” Krishna-in-disguise taunts Bhima. “The same thing is happening in NTR’s family,” Ms Purandareswari said.
