Missing file leaves Praja Rajyam red-faced

The Praja Rajyam learnt this the hard way after losing a "classified" file containing details of leaders from other parties who met Chiranjeevi secretly. Much to the chagrin of PR top brass (and the would-be defectors), the file reportedly reached the offices of the rival parties. It soon became evident that two PR office-bearers had slipped out the file for a neat sum. The shocked leadership immediately threw them out of the office. Both the Congress and the Telugu Desam let it be known that they had the file and had learnt all the secret moves of the fledgling party.

They also launched "operations" to pacify leaders who were reportedly itching to move out. Grapevine has it that the file mentioned the names of Ayyanna Patrudu, Kottapalli Subbarayudu and Ambica Krishna of the TD and Vangaveeti Radha Krishna and B.Veda Vyas in the Congress. Stung by the "leak," the PR has increased its office security and has appointed the most trustworthy persons in key posts.
